This market consultation is part of the preparation for the regional rail transport concessions in the provinces of Groningen and Fryslan and in Niedersachsen who will write out clients for the period from 2035. The input of this market consultation will be used for a market -based tender for the concession of the regional rail transport. But also to make the right choices in creating the preconditions. For now, the provinces keep the option open to possibly make a tender for buying (train) equipment before use in this New concession, but consider this opportunity small.
