• Background and Context The Municipalities have conducted an exploratory market research in which various parties were approached. Based on the positive reactions and the demonstrated willingness to collaborate, we are now taking the next step through this public market consultation. In this way we safeguard the principles of transparency and non-discrimination and give all interested entrepreneurs the opportunity to participate. Introduction and purpose of the market consultation The Municipalities intends to launch a tender to organize home adjustments in the context of the Social Support Act (Wmo). The contract will be divided into four lots. The list of activities per plot is not exhaustive and can be supplemented. Category 1: • Aids • Folding wall (toilet) brackets • Folding shower seat (shower seat on the wall) • Hand transmitter (adjustment of door openers) • Socket for mobility scooter storage • Thresholds: ▪ Installing threshold aids • Installing ramps/decking • Removing thresholds Category 2: • Door openers • Minor construction work ▪ Additional adjustments for a stair lift (fencing, handrail, etc.) • ▪ Ramp (street work) • ▪ Construction adjustments (e.g. widening doors) • Rinsing hairdryer installation • Bathroom adjustments (removing bath/shower tray, creating walk-in shower, lowering shower tray) • Mobility scooter storage Category 3: • Kitchen adjustments • Ceiling lift • Small structural adjustments indoors Category 4: • Extension • E.g. construction for sleeping and/or bathroom In preparation for this tender, we would like to draw up a realistic and market-based price book for the work as described in categories 1 and 2, in dialogue with the market. This price book must serve as a transparent and efficient basis for future assignments, with the emphasis on a fair price-quality ratio and a predictable process for both client and contractors.
