Description:
The scope of the agreement includes the supply and maintenance of seventy-four (74) wire detectors including documentation, spare parts for twelve (12) months for Organic Level Maintenance (OLM), manuals and a train-the-trainer course. The supply of the wire detectors and accessoriesrrelated items must be completed within 9 months of contract award.
The goal is to purchase small lightweight handheld wire detectors. The operator must be able to assemble and store the configuration in less than five (5) minutes in a flexible and slim case fitted to hisbackpack can be attached. The wire detector should have different notification settings for different environments and situations. The wire detector should enable the user to determine the location of the wire to an area of not more than 30 cm in numerous different typesbottoms. The user can replace the batteries without tools with new batteries that he carries on his belt or in his backpack. These are commercially available D-Cell or C-Cell batteries that are also used in other systems. Thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle and armrestthe operator can work with the detector for 8 hours if necessary without being hindered by the weight or size of the system.
Further requirements of the wire detectors in the form of a program of requirements will be shared with qualified candidates during the award phase.
