- Description:
- Within the Yangtze Canal Widening programme, we distinguish the following project components. Phase A 500 meters of quay on the east side of the Antarctica quay for the deepening of the Yangtze Canal, to be set up for tug berths;
The realization of Phase A provides for:
•500 meters of quay wall mWith a retaining height of approximately 17 metres, including soil protection;
•The quay wall will be provided with mooring facilities, laboratory stairs, furniture, cathodic protection by means of pressured current, drainage and various wells;
•Dredging work on the canal (approximately 800,000m3);
•Content iLandside part of the inland shipping/tug-boat quay (approx. 3500m2 element hardening);
•Connection to the existing Antarctic quay on the east side and the existing east quay of Rhenus, whereby the wing wall will be removed.
•Monitoring and possible repair of the pavement and construction of Rhenus.
