- Due to rising energy prices and increased inflation, more Tilburg people get into financial problems. We would like to do more to support our residents where we want to reduce energy poverty through an exchange control. This white goods control means that energy -slurping white goods such as a washing machine or a refrigerator can be replaced by a new energy -efficient (er) copy. Our residents thus save on their energy bills. This white goods exchange scheme is part of numerous measures that we take to prevent energy poverty. In addition, this scheme contributes to the energy transition. A second objective with this white goods exchange arrangement is stimulation of the local SMEs. That is why we are going through a European tender process with this procedure with the aim of contracting one party that will achieve the coordination and implementation of this scheme.
