- General information Maastricht University The UM is known at home and abroad for its unique education system: problem-based education (PBL). Moreover, UM profiles itself through its strong international orientation. An increasing number students from all over the Netherlands and abroad choose the Maastricht system. The UM is the youngest university in the Netherlands and is growing rapidly. There are currently approximately 22,000 students and 5,000 employees. Description of the Assignment The Faculty of Health Medicine and Life Sciences (hereinafter; FHML) of the University Maastricht (hereinafter: UM) wants to replace the current washing machines and racks with new washing machines with a drying function. This concerns the supply and purchase of 10 new washing machines with drying function, which will be used at the Central Glass and Sterilization Department (hereinafter: CGSA) which is part of the Central Research Facilities Department (hereinafter: COV) of FHML. CGSA cleans and sterilizes glass and plastic research materials from 70 laboratories and teaching areas. This is especially the case about measuring cups, Erlenmeyer flasks and measuring cylinders in sizes from 10 ml to 2 liters.
