- Description: Within the Center for Molecular Medicine (UMC-Utrecht) you intend to purchase an advanced microscope system in the context of the NWO Gravity Program 2022. For the project application "Imagine !: View and study cells in our tissues" provides within theconsortium our department, among other things, to the biological issues. To be able to answer biological issues using microscopy, it is necessary that the system to be used is able to visually record relatively large biological structures with the requirementpenetration and associated sensitive registration of the fluorescent signals. The used biological models are organoids, 3-dimensional grow models, from various tissues that are a true-to-life representation of the cellular processes in humaneTissues.
