Description: The DLAB division intends to purchase Sony MA900 Multi-Application Cell Sorter. The assignment consists of a total of purchase from the product including maintenance contract and Biosafety cabinet. The estimated value of the assignment is € 394,500 excluding VAT. Due to the enormous developments in the field of ' Single Cell ' DNA and RNA analysis techniques, there is a growing demand for the ' single cell ' level identify and isolate cells, pathogens and other particles. A very widely used method for ' Single Cell ' insulation is fluoresence activated cell sorting. The central flow facility of the DLAB division of the UMCU offers researchers the opportunity to perform this ' Cell Sorting ' using different Cell Sorters. At present, this facility is fully equipped for sorting non-infectious material.
