- Description: The Maastricht UMC+ (MUMC) will use EPIC as a new electronic patient file (EPD) and as part of it the Epic module BEAAKER as a Laboratory Information System (LIS). This LIS lacks functionality for supporting the blood transfusion processes in the MUMC. Labtrain is the only application that is supplied as a standard solution - separate from a complete and integrated LIS - with a proven standard coupling to Epic Beaker and with a proven integration into the Epic Workflow in a transfusion laboratory in a Dutch hospital. Given the above, the MUMC intends to provide Bodegro for the delivery and implementation of Labtrain.
