Description : The University of Twente (UT), through its advisory and steering committee, has approached Broaderview to consult them in their future deployment of a "video platform" to replace existing solutions and enhance functionality, ease management of content and make the processes more future proof for the University, its educators, and students. The current solution cannot be maintained in the mid/long term as most of its online applications and data storage systems rely on servers based in non-European countries. As defined in the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), companies processing and storing personal data need to comply with European legislation and procedures, something that non-EU-based companies cannot offer, nor guarantee. The UT would like to benefit from this opportunity to further improve other components of the process of acquisition and distribution of media: Prepare for the exponential growth of digital media in the learning environment.
