Description: A sustainable building that is both sports center and examination center is realized on the Bèta Campus. Building starts in 2021 and the delivery is scheduled for September 2023. The new construction comes in addition to the current USC, with the entrance to the green axis of the new housing and campusplein to be developed. An important goal in the new construction is sustainability. It has therefore been decided that the entire construction - of the design to and including the implementation phase - to the BREEAM-EN excellent quality mark must meet. We looked at different categories such as energy, health and waste. The new sports center becomes a circular building. Circular Building can be compared to Building with LEGO® From the outset, it is considered about how the building can be dismantled at the end of its life cycle to reuse or return the parts to nature. As a result, there would be nothing to be removed to the landfill at a future demolition of the building. New sports inventory is purchased for this sports center.
