Description: The assignment concerns the road transport of organs and transplant teams for the chain of organ donation. This road transport of organs and teams, as far as relevant to the assignment, concerns three processes.
The three processes that this assignment focuses on are:
1. Road transport from ODCs from their home addresses or from the University Medical Center (UMC) / their work address to a donor hospital in the (donation) region and vice versa;
2. Road transport of:
a) Independent take-out teams (Zuts) including materials from a UMC or home addresses to a donor hospital and vice versa;
b) Bodies of donor hospital to a transplant center (also UMC) or airport.
3. The road transport of thoracic take-out teams from a UMC or home addresses to a donor hospital or airport in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany and vice versa.
