- ADVANCE NOTICE: TRANSPORT LIANDER LOGISTICS Alliander intends to put a tender on the market in mid-February 2026 that relates to Liander's logistics services. Liander Logistiek is responsible for ensuring that materials are on the correct day, time and location are available. Safety, sustainability and efficiency of processes are the most important frameworks for excellent implementation of logistics processes and transport. From the Central Distribution Center (CDC) in Apeldoorn and 3 Cable Hubs (storage locations for cable reels in Apeldoorn Woudhuis, Marknesse and the Amsterdam area), Liander Logistiek manages the entire downstream Supply Chain. This means all deliveries to decentralized storage locations and/or deliveries to the final customers/contractors and projects in the field, but also the return flow of materials that are “left over” after the job. Within Liander Logistics, the Transport Department manages all (external) transport movements through various means types of transport orders (such as deliveries, return orders and relocations). We work with external transporters who deliver and/or return the materials to the right place on the desired date and time. In addition to transportation, the transporter is also responsible for planning these transports, both downstream in the supply chain and return if desired.
