Description: The Shiraka program includes a training component, the Shiraka Training Program (STP).
The Netherlands has the goal of civil servants (with a minimum of five and a maximum of ten years of relevant work experience) from the Mena region (at least: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestinian territories, Sudan and Tunisia) invite to follow a training. By choosing the topics for the training, this contributes to democratization, rule of law and the structure of an economic infrastructure in these countries. The training also intends to strengthen the participant's relationship with the Netherlands and the Dutch government and to convey knowledge of and understanding of Dutch policy.
