- Description:
- The assignment includes storing and taking care of trading parties that are confiscated or taken into account. The exotic plants are seized and taken into custody by customs, which often takes place at Schiphol, also in the port of Rotterdam and Customs Breda. The contractor must have sufficient storage capacity to store the plants, whereby light, climate and water must be regulated. In addition, the contractor must have a quarantine room. Client takes care of the transport to the contractor. With trading parties exotic plants, numbers of plants larger than 10 are meant together. The plants are traded and must be placed in a storage until a decision has been made on the destination of the plants (often destruction or donation). Client will indicate permanent plants per trading party what kind of care the plants need, the contractor must follow up on this.
