Description:
The Noord and Oostengelderland Security Region (VNOG) wants to develop a vehicle that can initially be used as a foam extinguishing vehicle (SB) and, among other things, in the event of incidents where large -scale overprint ventilation is desired or which are related to the energy transition. The vehicle is small and agile and can yield foam via a foam gun and hand blasting. For this it forms a combination with the water tankers (WTG) of the VNOG because it is not desirable for the new foam extinguishing vehicle to have a water tank. VNOG is orientation on the possibilities to use the vehicle with more types of incidents. The market consultation is therefore also intended to exchange ideas with market parties on this point. The VNOG intends to request the foam extinguishing vehicles in one plot through a European tender and to award one party. With a view to the upcoming ban on a fluorinous foam -formant, the tender has as an important condition that the new vehicles must be operational in 2025.
