Description:
The Hague Street Organization (HSO) aims to keep The Hague clean. This is done through a combination of manual cleaning and machine sweeping, carried out by our own staff. It is a conscious choice by the municipality of The Hague for the city to keep it clean with a lot of manual labor and to offer jobs to many employees who are at a distance from the labor market. As a result, the number of sweepers with drivers is lower than the average for other major cities. This means that the HSO is available at peak times addition of sweepers or sweeper drivers is required to ensure adequate cleaning at peak times, such as early mornings, weekends, public holidays, and special events such as Veterans Day, Budget Day and Flag Day, etc. Also In certain seasons, such as during the blossom or leaf fall period, there is additional capacity to carry out all work in a timely and thorough manner. To cope with this peak load, the HSO wants to outsource the work by means of an image specification for weekends and hiring additional equipment together with qualified personnel who can operate it for peak times.
