- More insight into the current situation of the basic acid condition and quality of habitats is needed to obtain a broad view of: a) to determine the current state of base -rich scales, b) whether or not performed recovery measures are effective and c) existing And to adjust future recovery plans where necessary. This research proposal covers parts A and b. Part c can consist of a follow -up project for the 2nd phase of the UPN in the form of a recovery program for groundwater -dependent base -loving habitats in which researchers, managers and policy makers work together. This can consist of monitoring in areas where recovery has been carried out or will soon be implemented the effectiveness of measures evaluate. This could also be accompanied by review and adjusting new recovery plans. This then contributes to successfully applying the complex knowledge in the recovery and management practice and offers the opportunity to learn from each other.
