Description: SuedLink (projects 3 and 4 according to the federal requirement plan as part of the BBPlG): New construction of a high-voltage direct current transmission system (HVDC transmission system) with a transmission capacity of 2 x 2 GW Cooperation between TenneT TSO GmbH and TransnetBW realized. The aim is to set up two central high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC system) between northern and southern Germany. The project consists of two projects, which will later be operated independently of each other. Projects 3 and 4 are legally anchored in the Federal Requirements Plan Act (BBPlG). Both projects are to be implemented using VSC technology. Project 3: HVDC transmission system from Brunsbüttel (Station 3A) to Großgartach (Station 3B) Project 4: HVDC transmission system from Wilster (Station 4A) to Bergrheinfeld / West (Station 4B) The converter stations in project 4 are the subject of this announcement.
