- Vitens is working on the drinking water concept for the future. It does this in order to be able to continue to supply sufficient drinking water at socially acceptable costs, now and in the future. Vitens strives for solutions that enable location-independent large-scale surface water, groundwater and possiblyother sources can be purified into drinking water. These solutions are characterized by multiple use of sources, flexible and rapid upscaling (modular), suitable for meeting the changing water demand in the future, relieving or replacing unsustainable existing abstractionsand have a limited or positive impact on the environment.
Vitens is looking for a collaboration partner with this tender to work in partnership with Vitens on the design, construction, research and demonstration of the operation of a drinking water extraction and purification concept, including thenecessary drinking water transport infrastructure, using various sources.
