- The subject-matter of the Framework Agreements is software development and maintenance for all IT related areas supporting the EPO`s day-to-day operation and its strategic goals as well as related technical services. Due to the complex and unique nature of the EPO`s tasks, some of the applications concerned are extremely complex, integrating custom-developed software and commercial-off-the-shelf products and systems. The applications and technologies are grouped into Business Area Domains that constitute coherent groups. Companies are sought for support in the entire software development lifecycle and subsequent maintenance of new or existing applications. \nCorporate: The Corporate domain provides comprehensive software development, maintenance, and management services for the entire EPO organization, encompassing a diverse range of technologies, products, and services. \nPGP - Patent Grant Process: The Patent Grant Process (PGP) domain covers all IT services related to the administration of patent applications during their lifetime in the process and is also governed by the European Patent Convention (EPC). \nSearch and Prior Art: The domain of Search and Prior Art Management covers all IT services providing enrichment and information-retrieval services for the EPO business processes in Search and Examination.\nWeb Publishing: This domain comprises IT systems based on custom developments delivered on web-based software platforms, including Intranet, Internet and Extranet d...
