Description: The municipality of Leiden and Leiden University have developed a master plan for Leiden Bio Science Park. The sport and exam Center (SETC) is an important function with around 220,000 visitors a year. The building has a relationship with the new Campusplein and is at the intersection of the Ehrenfest Road and the Einsteinweg, a green zone, behind which houses are situated.
At present, the design of the SETC is tailored to the user and the environment and it is developed into the level of definitive design in the field of:
- Urbanism,
- Architecture,
- Constructions,
- Installations E and W,
- Building physics,
- Fire safety,
- Accessibility (ITS).
The design of the sport and exam Center (SETC) includes sports and dance halls with a second function as an exam space, fitness with spinning space, climbing wall, yoga room and associated hospitality, underground bicycle parking and office space for employees.
