- The municipality of Eindhoven currently manages a heat network in Meerhoven, with around 1,600 regulated and 7 non -regulated users. The exploitation of the heat network is carried out by a third party via a service agreement (DVO), which ends on December 31, 2025. This DVO mainly concerns the physical maintenance of the municipal heat network, the metering and connections with the customer administration. The municipality is planning to set up a public energy company at the beginning of 2025, which will manage various collective heat networks in Eindhoven. That is why the municipality is looking for partners for a new DVO for the existing network in Meerhoven and future heat networks. The market consultation focuses on determining the scope and plot distribution (distribution and/or delivery) for this tender.
