Description:
The current agreement for the ICT Service Desk expires on March 31, 2024. The Police's need for supporting employees in the IT field will not change in the coming years.
The ICT Service Desk provides user support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a yearand in this way forms the 1st point of contact for all customers and users of the IT services provided. The Service Desk is a so-called "skilled service desk", which means that the aim is to maximize the First Call Resolution percentage.
The need for a Service Deskemployees will not change in the coming years.
The need will be met by both permanent and external employees. The 24/7 concept and also the flexible size of the number of service desk employees due to major changes in the ICT infrastructure mean that part of the required capacityentity will continue to consist of external employees. There is a need for services to supply (temporary) employees for the Service Desk IT department.
In addition, the intended services must provide substance in the field of recruitment and selection, training and coaching of ICT Servicedesk employees.
What the Police wants is a service partner that provides the flexible shell that allows us to scale up or down in practice and that - despite the fact that it concerns hiring (not secondment) - this is still cheaper than employing such employees themselves.
