Description : To fulfil the requirements and needs of the Battery Thermal Propagation (BaTProp) project, the European Commission's Joint Research Centre — Energy, Transport and Climate Directorate in Petten, intends hereby to procure the testing of Rapid Heating-Triggered Thermal Runaway Propagation on:
A) Battery packs used for the propulsion of electric vehicles, containing secondary lithium-ion cells; and
B) Full-scale Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS), commonly referred to as battery system, in a vehicle, including coupled gas analysis, to be performed at the tenderer's premises.
