This publication concerns a pre-announcement of a European tender that KNMI (Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute) is currently preparing and which is likely to be published in the second or third quarter of 2023. The estimation date below is no more than an estimate. The KNMI has a Seismological network in operation and maintenance, for monitoring induced and tectonic as well as atmospheric activity. Procurement needs consist of the supply of seismological measuring equipment such as 1. Geophone strings, 2. Surface accelerometers and 3. Dataloggers. (Installation and maintenance of the equipment is out of scope.) The purpose of this publication is to inform market parties of this proposed tendering procedure at an early stage. It is not possible to submit a tender for this pre-announcement. Submitting tenders will be possible once the actual tender has been officially announced. More information regarding the tender, conditions, lot-division etc., will be made available then.
