- Like all municipalities in the Netherlands, the municipality of Tholen takes care of people who have fled their home country. That happens in a temporary municipal reception location in Tholen. The number of people who are collected on the spot fluctuates and consists of overflow of the asylum seekers who have been registered in Ter Apel. The municipality wishes to supervise the location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every day there is a manager from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. who is employed by the municipality or hired by the municipality. In addition, there is a need for the services of a security company, as described in more detailed tender documents.
