• When citizens park unpaid in a place where payment is required, they are liable to pay an additional tax. To locate these cases, 12 scan cars drive every day in the municipality of Rotterdam along a predetermined route. Since the expansion and standardization of paid parking in the municipality of Rotterdam in 2021, the total paid parking area has been significantly expanded and parking times have been extended. For tax enforcement, the area to be enforced and the time slot for enforcement are therefore larger become. This makes it necessary to expand the capacity of the scanning units for enforcement. The agreement for purchasing new scanning units has been terminated and the order must be put out to tender.
