Description:
Het ENTEG-instituut van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen werkt aan een project voor duurzame recycling van polyvinylchloride (PVC). Dit project richt zich op het ontwikkelen van technologie om PVC-afval opnieuw bruikbaar te maken als grondstof, door gebruik te maken van superkritische CO₂ om additieven te verwijderen zonder schadelijke emissies. Voor deze aanpak zijn betrouwbare reologische metingen van PVC onder superkritische omstandigheden essentieel. Momenteel gebruiken we een couette flow pressure cell met cilindrische en vane-geometrieën voor het meten van PVC, maar dit systeem kent enkele belangrijke beperkingen.
