Description:
It concerns the sale of the old court. The Winner purchases the Location from the Municipality and redevelops it at its own expense and risk, within the frameworks and principles of the Sale Procedure, into an iconic and sustainable business card for Amersfoort.
The challenge consists of five comcomponents:
1. a high-quality interpretation that stimulates healthy urban life and social connection;
2. a place, a building that "merges" the two different worlds (Stationsplein and Bergkwartier) spatially and functionally;
3. an iconic design that offers a special experiencestimulates and that contributes to a better connection between station and city centre;
4. an inspiring example of sustainability, energy-neutral and circular; nature-inclusive and with a good connection to the ambitions for the new Stationsplein;
5. a modern, contemporary office developmentg; in which there is preferably room for 'mixed use', meeting, innovation and hybrid working.
