Description: The N239 is a provincial road that runs from the N242 at Nieuwe Niedorp to the N240 at Medemblik. This project concerns the road section between the N242 and the connection to the A7 and is referred to in this work as N239a. The exact scope limit of this project runs from hectometre post (hm) 15.50 to hm 21.10.
The scope of this project consists of the following activities:
- the construction of a roundabout,
- the construction of a new bicycle bridge,
- major maintenance of the fixed bridge (incl. Replacement of the connecting sheet pile wall),
- adapting the cyclist crossing,
- applying roadside surfacing,
- the rehabilitation of parts of the surfacing of the N239,
- the removal of various parking bays,
- the necessary design work.
