Description : The Netherlands Ministry of Defence (NLD MOD) is considering renewing its wired (type WD1-TT) field telephone systems and invites potential suppliers for these systems to respond to this Request for Information (RFI).
The systems currently in use, the TP-6N, Multitel-1 and Multitel-2, have reached their End Life of Type (ELOT). It is intended to replace the three systems with a single system which will provide additional functionality, like: the ability to transmit analogue voice as well as (limited) data; the ability to be connected to similar systems via interfaces, and; a modular buildup to enable the system to also be used by other NLD MOD services.
