Description:
The aim of this tender is to realize a more energy-efficient and future-proof climate control in GVB's Alstom Metropolis metro vehicles (M5/M6) through a complete overhaul and targeted modification of the HVAC installations. With this assignment, GVB aims to: • maintain the original performance and lifespan of the HVAC systems; • structurally reduce energy consumption and maintenance requirements by applying modern control technology (such as CO₂-dependent control and custom temperature settings); • to guarantee the continuity of metro operation during the remaining life of the equipment. • The overhaul and modification are carried out systematically, safely and with minimal impact on the availability of the equipment to be implemented within the planned term of approximately 2.5 years.
