- NWO has built up a LAN/WLANNETWERK at the NWOD locations in The Hague and Utrecht. These LAN/Wlannetwerken are supported by physical hardware, including 49 network switches (23 in The Hague and 26 in Utrecht). In addition, NWO also has 4 reserve (spare) network switches (location The Hague). The current network switches in The Hague are now 8 (eight) years old and the network switches in Utrecht are 5 (five) years old. The economic and technical depreciation period for these network switches is 4 (four) years. For these reasons, the network switches are due for replacement. See Appendix K: Description of current and future situation, for a complete description of the current situation.
