Description:
Relocating and adapting the main sewer is part of KnoopXL area development. In this area development, the station area of Eindhoven is being prepared for the future. Approximately 9,000 new homes and various large-scale new infrastructure has been created. Relocating the main sewer is a prerequisite for the realization of an underground bus station (Multimodal Junction). The current route of the main sewer runs straight through the area where it is located new bus station including underground bus tunnels is planned. The work on the bus station is planned to start in 2030 and is therefore an important driver for area development on the north side of the track. Delivery of the new main sewer in October 2029.
