Description:
In the context of the expected tender for the certification of the public NLwallet (NL Wallet), it is important to get an idea of the market and the associated possibilities and challenges. The introduction of the EDI system in the Netherlands means that EDI wallets must be able to be certified in a timely and reliable manner. To achieve this, the Contracting Authority wants to obtain information from the market about the expected lead times, cost types and activities associated with the certification process. In addition, this Market Consultation offers the opportunity to inform interested conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in a timely manner that a tender is expected to be in progress for the certification of the NL Wallet and that after the EDI system goes live, there will eventually (in all likelihood) be a need for CABs that can certify Dutch wallets.
