Description:
The municipality of Amsterdam is responsible for the proper functioning of the sewer and leaves its construction and management to the Waternet Foundation. The management and maintenance of the sewer system includes: Cleaning and inspecting rainwater sewers, wastewater sinks Cleaning wastewater sewers Emptying dirty water sewer pits and gullies Cleaning reception cellars sewage pumping stations Cleaning storage settling basins During the execution of this work, RKG sludge (Sewer, Gully and Pumping Station sludge) is released and is transported by the contractor to a sludge processing location nearby. It is currently in favor taking ownership of RKGslib supplied by and/or on behalf of Waternet, management and processing of RKGslib does not yet constitute an agreement with a sludge processor. To date, use has been made of the two sludge processing locations in the vicinity of the municipality of Amsterdam. The main purpose of this tender is to conclude a framework agreement with two market parties for the receipt and processing of RKGslib for a maximum period of 4 years.
