Description:
The municipality of The Hague is committed to zero road casualties and is committed to improving road safety. In recent years, the municipality has invested in the traffic-safe design of roads and intersections. But The Hague continues to grow. More inhabitants means more people on the move in the city. The cycle path is busier, there are more pedestrians, more travelers on public transport and on the roads. In addition, mobility policy is changing, pedestrians and cyclists are given more space and attention. The modes of transport are also changing, such as electric bicycles. It is more important than ever to continue investing in safe mobility. This is why the municipality of The Hague is looking for three suitable market parties to structurally implement projects aimed at the traffic-safe design of roads and intersections. The estimated value of the framework agreement over its entire term (4 years), including options and extensions, is a maximum of € 6,000,000, excluding VAT. Of the estimated value, €1,250,000 (for the first period of 2 years) is guaranteed for the framework contractors.
