Description:
The operational management of the Arnhem WWTP has been confronted with a large number of bottlenecks for several years. The performance and availability of the installation are falling below par and continued compliance with legislation and regulations is not possible under the current circumstances.
On the basisAnalyzes have determined that by 2035 the biological load will have increased by approximately 25% compared to the current design.
The aim of the project 'realization of Arnhem WWTP modifications' is to make the WWTP future-proof in a structured manner, so that it can be used again functions welluntil at least 2035.
Rivierenland Water Board wants to enter into an agreement with one tenderer to carry out the following modifications (which can be broadly divided into 3 work packages):
- Work package 1, sludge line: various modifications of the thickening and dewatering of primary and seconddry sludge, including heat exchange; the adjustment of the (Digestered) sludge buffer 1 and the demolition of (Digestered) sludge buffer 2;
- Work package 2, influent receiving work: the realization of a new Influent receiving work 2 and the adjustment of the existing Influent receiving work 1;
- Work package 3 is the spoilsand this assignment;
- Work package 4, green gas: realizing a new green gas line.
The delivery date is February 1, 2026.
