Description:
Noorderzijlvest Water Board maintains 2,200 kilometers of primary waterways and 350 kilometers of drainage canals. To carry out dredging work, the water board wants to conclude a framework agreement of a maximum of six years, divided over two plots: Plot 1 - Mechanical dredging: maximum 3 contractors. Lot 2 Hydraulic dredging: 1 contractor. With these long-term contracts, the water board wants to reduce tender costs and strengthen cooperation with contractors. In addition, multi-year agreements offer dredgers the space to invest in sustainable and emission-free techniques, which contributes to CO2 reduction and is in line with the water board's policy to apply the Clean and Emission-Free Construction Covenant to dredging works.
