- The municipality of Veenendaal started the "Sourcetopay" project. The aim of this project is to facilitate the ordering process and better guaranteeing purchasing procedures and associated legality. Purchasing and ordering process is closely related to the financial processes "Administration of obligations" and "processing invoices". In addition, all documents that arise in this process from the quotation are requested to the invoice part of a good purchasing file. For this reason, the SourCetopay process becomes as one process chain from the initial purchasing requirement up to and including the payment of the invoice. This process and the project have an impact on processes, people, systems and the organization. Some of the bottlenecks can and must be solved without IT facilities. This concerns, for example, a lack of documented processes or work instructions. Another part of the bottlenecks can only be solved by using a Sourcetopay application (S2P).
