Description: The radiology and nuclear medicine department of the Amsterdam UMC, location AMC wants to purchase two new identical ceiling-suspended trauma chep (fixed conventional C-arc X-ray systems), including maintenance. The motivation for ceiling-suspended systems stems from the layout of the two trauma rooms. The two trauma rooms are separated from each other by a wall that can be pushed away. In the trauma rooms, one sliding gantry CT system has been placed with two patient tables, one of which is in every trauma room. The trauma switches are used in combination with the patient tables of the CT. Due to the crowds and emergency in a trauma / resuscitation setting, it is important that the space has as little obstacles as possible so that the patient can be helped as well and quickly as possible. A system that is mounted on the ground is therefore not appropriate within the space because this allows fewer people to help the patient at the same time.
