The UMCG wants to purchase plasma scenery columns for the plasmaferesis treatment of patients.
It concerns patients who are eligible for a Living Related Kidney Transplantation, but where there is no correct match between the blood group of the donor and the recipient. Prior to the transplantthe recipient receives a number of (average 3-4) specific plasma scene treatments (Abo-incompatible Plasmaferesis). Specific columns are used for these treatments that can remove blood group antibodies, making transplantation over the blood group possible and the risks onDisposal of being minimized.
