- Description:
- The Public Space Supervision & Enforcement Directorate of the Municipality of Amsterdam uses towing vehicles to tow incorrectly placed vehicles or vehicles for which parking fees have not been paid for a longer period of time to the vehicle depot. THOR is also called in when an event area is cleared should be. THOR does this in Amsterdam, Weesp, Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Ouder-Amstel and Uithoorn.
THOR currently uses 3 owned vehicles (diesel) and 3 rental vehicles: 2 emission-free (retrofit) and 1 diesel. This tender concerns the purchase of 8 emission-free towing vehicles to replace the 3 owned vehicles and the 3 rental vehicles. The desired 8 emission-free towing vehicles are divided over three vehicle types. A separate plot is set up for each vehicle type. One supplier per plot is contracted to supply the intended products towing vehicles.
