  Description: In 2006, in the Amstelmeer 'water binds' Moerase Islands and Natuurevers were laid in the Amstelmeer. Unfortunately, the plan has not developed as directed at the time.
  The chosen technical structures did not appear to be resistant to the influence of water and wind in combination with spring storms. The intended swamp development is therefore insufficient from the ground. The islands of great value for different types of birds appeared. That is why it has been decided to restore and expand two of the three islands and two kafjes, which were not in the scope of the project.
