Description:
The electricity grid is becoming full in more and more places in the regions of Rhineland-Lower North Holland and Veluwe-Gooi-Flevoland. This is partly due to the growing economy, the digitalization of society, the building of houses in record speed and the switch of many entrepreneurs and consumersn from natural gas to electricity. Furthermore, these regions are attractive for generating sustainable energy through solar and wind farms.
The electricity grid must be expanded for this. However, this is not as fast as the pace at which developments are now taking place.
This program with the constructionof thousands of kilometers of cable and the installation of a large number of new stations is an important means of solving the problems in the electricity grid. In this way, Liander makes further sustainability and economic development possible in these regions.
Plot 1a NuRijnland - Rijnland
In the rregion NuRijnland - Rijnland, Liander is realizing a very extensive capacity expansion of the electricity grid. The expansion of medium-voltage electricity grids is divided into various Projects that are in different stages;
- Construction team phase with elaboration of Preliminary Design, Final Design and Implementation Design
- Following the Implementation Phase in which the implementation work is carried out.
Expected turnover per year per plot: between 10 and 17.5 million euros.
