The electricity grid in Gelderland and North Holland is becoming full in more and more places. This is partly due to the growing economy, the digitization of society, the building of houses at record speed and the switch of many entrepreneurs and consumers from natural gas to electricity. aboveIn addition, the regions of Gelderland and Noord-Holland are attractive for generating sustainable energy via solar and wind parks. The electricity grid must be expanded for this. However, this is not happening as fast as the pace at which developments are now taking place.
This program with the construction of thousandskilometers of cable and the installation of a large number of new stations is an important means of solving the problems in the electricity grid. In this way, Liander enables further sustainability and economic development in Gelderland and Noord-Holland.
