- Description:
- The Assignment relates to the processing of B-timber. B-wood consists of painted, lacquered and/or glued wood, sheet materials such as chipboard, plasticized wood types, pressed wood and lacquered furniture. The B-wood is generally collected at the environmental parks where it is used by the publics of Rotterdam is handed in.
The Contracting Authority transports the collected wood waste to the disposal site of the processor. The requested services concern: receiving, taking over ownership, storage and transshipment, processing/sorting, transport and recycling/processing conform the current legislation and regulations and the National Waste Management Plan 3 (LAP3), of the waste fractions offered by the Contracting Authority.
The total size of the Contract is approximately 9,000 tons per year.
The start date of the Agreement is expected to be on November 16, 2023.
