• Description and purpose of the tender With this tender, the contracting authority intends to contract a tenderer for the “Bijmaling Gemaal Nol Zeven” project for the manufacture and delivery of four (4) horizontally installed fish-safe axial pumps with check valve, one (1) dummy pump and two (2) lifting slides with guides. Current situation Nol Zeven pumping station dates from the 1960s and was originally built as a drainage lock. The discharge lock consists of two (2) parallel tubes, which have the option of discharging water into the Western Scheldt under free fall at low tide. The civil engineering installation consists of concrete tubes. The guard doors are automatically opened and closed based on the water differential pressure between them on the one hand the Western Scheldt and on the other hand the Nol Zeven polder. The storm surge gates are electromechanically driven, while the maintenance gates are manually operated.
