- Vitens intends to replace the drinking water production location on the Pinkenberg in Rozendaal. The new production location with a capacity of 2 mm3/year is being built on a plot opposite the current location. The new construction is a production building consisting of 2 purification streets, each with 2 pressure filters, a distribution room with distribution and rinsing water pumps, a (indoor) cleanwater reservoir, new underground infrastructure, nature inclusive terrain device and replacing the cabling from and to the Winveld (incl. Replace 7 Winput cellars ). The project has various challenges: deep basement construction close to the property boundary; Limited building space with a lot of earthmoving; logistics; location in a residential area surrounded by national monuments; and Natura2000 area.
